The purpose of this project is to explore the world by gliding around.
I use MSFS2020 to glide in real-time weather conditions, following a continuous path. From A to B, then B to C, then C to D etc. Trying to get as far as I can, riding on the winds.
I always launch my glider using a winch. No engines. It'd be too easy with engines. So far I haven't used the engine at all, though I may have to use it some day if my life depends on it.
#1 priority is to not crash. I care for realism, so, crashing and trying again and again until I make it is not what I'm after.
While I stop at a place, I'd like to learn a few things about that place. Even if that means simply looking it up, just to absorb the landscape, to see what businesses operate there, what people do. I want to see the world. I will never really see all these places, so, I'll get what I can, remotely.
